We sought a modern and cohesive identity that better communicated its values: innovation, precision, and reliability. Our process began with an in-depth discovery phase involving market research, and competitive analysis. We sought to understand our core audience, their positioning within the commercial lighting market, and the technical and emotional attributes customers associated with their products.


Process

From our research, we developed a brand strategy that positioned Valriya as a forward-thinking, design-conscious leader in spec-grade lighting. We established brand pillars focused on engineering excellence, elegant functionality, and architectural integration. The visual rebrand began with the development of a new colors that balances technical feel with minimalist elegance. The logotype features custom typography inspired by architectural forms that evoke light direction and modularity. The color palette was updated to a refined combination of deep graphite blue, minimalist greys, and a distinctive accent color, enhancing legibility and evoking a sense of premium quality.

Guidelines

Comprehensive brand guidelines were created to ensure consistent application of the visual identity across all touchpoints. The guidelines covered logo usage, color specifications, typography, and digital UI components. Special attention was given to product literature and specification sheets, which are key tools for lighting specifiers and needed to balance visual appeal with technical accuracy.
